Welcome to my photography portfolio website. I am Alexandra Derrick, I am a busy sports mom of 1 boy, Chandler, and married to my wonderful (wild) husband Brandon Derrick. We love to be very involved in all our son's activities whether it's baseball, basketball, football, you name it. Sports photography started out as a hobby for me as I captured images of my son's teammates and family members, I found that these moments of our athletes don't last forever.  Many sports parents don't have the ability to capture photos during game play because, I know too well,  we are holding our breathe. During games I capture action and moments frozen in time of players that I share that with parents/family members/athletes. This is my opportunity to provide those memories snagged during the game so they can truly enjoy the moment. My goal is to grasp the atmosphere and emotion of the moment, and have that be reflected in the images I produce.
